A Personalized Approach to Laser Wellness Support
My approach to wellness has evolved over the years, shaped by hands-on experience, curiosity, and a deep interest in helping people move toward healthier habits.
I’ve always been passionate about wellness practices — at one point even traveling to Thailand for in-depth, hands-on training in the traditional art of Thai Massage. That journey sparked a deeper interest in the relationship between physical tension, energy flow, and emotional wellbeing.
When I returned to Canada, I explored more modern systems of energy point-based stimulation and completed the McMaster University Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program (Health Sciences) in Hamilton, Ontario.
How I Discovered Laser-Based Wellness
My introduction to laser wellness support began not as a practitioner, but as a client. I experienced firsthand the powerful effects of non-invasive laser stimulation during my own recovery from a stubborn repetitive strain issue. That experience opened my eyes nearly 20 years ago to the broader potential of this technology — not just for physical discomfort, but for encouraging deep relaxation and balance.
After more than a year researching the international marketplace, I chose to invest in professional-grade laser equipment from RJ-LASER in Germany — a company with decades of experience in laser technology for wellness applications. Their tools form the backbone of my current work today.
The Shift Toward Habit Change Support
As my practice has evolved, I developed a personalized, wellness-based laser approach known as Low-Level Laser Stimulation (LLLS), which I now use in all of my Laser Quit Sessions. This method draws from traditional acupuncture point-stimulation techniques and integrates modern research in photobiomodulation (PBM) and neuroplasticity — particularly how the brain and nervous system respond to light and energy-based input.
LLLS represents a natural evolution from my earlier work in hands-on wellness as a massage therapist. Over time, it became clear to me that laser stimulation of specific energy points could play a meaningful role in helping individuals navigate the emotional and physical shifts that often come with quitting smoking, alcohol, cannabis, or other habits.
Today, this approach forms the foundation of my work. I combine targeted laser stimulation, practical habit-change preparation, and personalized support in a way that helps many people feel more grounded, calm, and confident on their wellness journey.
LLLS is gentle, non-invasive, and completely needle-free. While individual experiences vary, many clients describe their Laser Quit Sessions as deeply calming and surprisingly effective in supporting their commitment to change.
A Wellness-Based Perspective
The support I offer is not medical and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. Instead, Laser Quit Sessions are structured to help promote physical, mental, and emotional balance as you transition away from unwanted habits.
I encourage every client to continue working with their doctor, therapist, or other licensed health care providers for any medical or psychological concerns. My role is to provide supportive, non-medical guidance for those who have made the decision to change and are seeking a light based, structured approach rooted in wellness.
Outside the Studio
When I’m not working, I spend most of my time with my family, paddling my kayak, mountain biking, or hiking in the woods with my life partner. I’m also constantly learning — reading up on the latest in light-based wellness, neurobiology, and behavior change.
I believe real change comes when we combine science, self-awareness, and a little bit of structure — and I’m grateful to offer a service that supports that process.
